Getting started
Nimzey is a desktop app that runs quietly in the background while you design. It captures timelapses, screenshots, GIFs, and recordings of your real work — and gives you a weekly recap of where your time went.
Start your free trial from the pricing section. After checkout, you'll get an email with a download link for Mac or Windows. Run the installer and sign in with the same email.
Yes. Nimzey ships native installers for both macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows.
Nimzey is designed to stay out of the way. It uses low-priority background capture and only records when a supported app is in focus. You shouldn't notice it while you work.
Supported apps
Right now: Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Cinema 4D, Blender, and more. We're adding new programs regularly — if your favorite app isn't supported, let us know.

Captures and recaps
On your computer, in your Nimzey folder. They never leave your machine unless you choose to export or share them.
Every week, Nimzey stitches your captures and time data into a 9:16 video designed to share on social. You can review it, edit the music and song offset, then post or save it.
Yes. Every timelapse, screenshot, GIF, and recording can be exported individually. You own them.
Privacy
Yes. Your screen captures stay on your computer. We don't upload them, view them, or use them to train any models. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
Just what's needed for your account: your email, subscription status, and high-level diagnostics (e.g. crash reports). No screen content, no window contents, no design files.
Billing and account
Monthly is $5/month and renews until you cancel. Founders is a one-time $40 payment for lifetime access plus a Founders badge and early access to new features.
Go to your account page and click "Manage billing." You'll be sent to Stripe's billing portal where you can cancel in one click.
If something's wrong, email nimzeyapp@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase and we'll work it out.
Check your spam folder first. If it's still missing after a couple of minutes, try again from the login page or email nimzeyapp@gmail.com.
Email nimzeyapp@gmail.com from your old address and we'll update it for you.
